Critical Human Race Theory

blue sky with clouds

What is Critical Race Theory? That was a question many of us asked in recent months and years. It came across as a new insight into humanity, a new body of knowledge added to our children’s curriculum. CRT is a new way of looking at life for sure but it has a major problem. It is built on unforgiveness and it is unbiblical. Other than that, why should we be upset about it? That was a bad joke because it is downright dangerous and needs to be treated for the lies therein. CRT is a perfect vehicle for the devil to divide and conquer us. He is the accuser of the brethren and he loves sin.

God on the other hand has paid for all our sins and is inviting us into perfect forgiveness! In Matthew 18 we see that God forgave an enormous debt to a sinner pleading for forgiveness. God granted the pardon and let him off scot free. Wow! How merciful is our God truly! What if all of us did what God did? What if we held no sin against anyone and forgave all sin even our own sin. Instead of feeling hurt over past offenses even some going back to 1619! We are called by God to forgive ALL sin by all people for all time. As far as the east is from the west, so far has our God forgiven us! Our sins have been placed in the deepest seas never to be brought up again. We are righteous in God’s sight because we have been forgiven by the Blood of the Lamb, the Blood shed for every sin as the Perfect Sacrifice for the entire world.

All of that is ours to receive by faith but it can be rejected. We can insist on fairness and demand reparations and hate one another if we want to. Later in Matthew 18, the forgiven sinner under the immense mercy of God saw someone walking down the street who owed him some money, not nearly as large as the original debt of the original sinner. Instead of forgiveness the debtor was choked and bullied. The verses are below and it is not pretty if we choose to reject God’s command to forgive!

The truth is that all of us are in God’s sight, SINNERS. As far as He is concerned, all of us deserve death! Jesus did not need to go to the cross. He would have been “socially just” if he condemned all of us. We have no right whatsoever to claim any superiority or inferiority when we compare ourselves to one another! All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. All deserve death. So let’s call this the Critical Human Race Theory (CHRT) – all humans are sinners, all need forgiveness and all will die in sin unless we come to God and ask for forgiveness. The ball is in our court.
We must choose. CRT or CHRT?!

But when that servant went out, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred silver coins. He grabbed him and began to choke him. ‘Pay back what you owe me!’ he demanded. “His fellow servant fell to his knees and begged him, ‘Be patient with me, and I will pay it back.’ “But he refused. Instead, he went off and had the man thrown into prison until he could pay the debt.  When the other servants saw what had happened, they were outraged and went and told their master everything that had happened.  “Then the master called the servant in. ‘You wicked servant,’ he said, ‘I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to. Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?’ In anger, his master handed him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed.

“This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother or sister from your heart.”
