according to some definitions. Socialism is belief in a strong central government and some degree of democracy.

On November 4th, Zohran Mamdani, an avowed communist, promised to deliver “a society we would all like to see”. How many times will people fall for these lies? The video below by Jim Cardoza provides an excellent discussion on the facts that have proven to cause nothing but disillusionment and death.
The principle of Sowing and Reaping teaches us that what may appear to be small has potential to become much larger than planned. What starts out as an “exciting idea” can become a nightmare if based on lies. America is crossing a very serious red line in NYC. We would be wise to stop this small seed from taking root elsewhere. If the weeds are allowed to multiply, they may grow out of control and spread to other cities.

Socialism and Communism are anti-God, anti-Christian, antisemetic and anti-freedom. Democracy provides freedom to choose but will not prevent the consequences that are produced by bad decisions. God will let us destroy one another if we want to do that. Three times in Romans 1, God gives sinners over to their own rebellious choices. Galatians 5:15 says if you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by one another.
We are in danger of sliding into a civil war.
Finally, consider this illustration. Life is like a horse race. Let the horses run free and finish to their maximum speed. Capitalism provides that liberty. Socialism on the other hand requires that all the horses finish the race equally so that the faster horses are restrained to finish with the slowest horse. All the faster horses are enslaved by the slowest horse.
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm then and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Galatians 5:1
