104 million Christians or people of faith are eligible to vote, 41 million don’t vote, 32 million church goers don’t vote.
Based on research conducted by the Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University, it is estimated that 104 million people who fall under the category of people of faith, of which 41 million are Christians and 32 million attend church regularly, will not cast ballots in this election.
Christians have the power to determine the fate of the nation and the world but many forego that power by not voting. This election is so critical that some believe that it will determine if America will actually collapse or survive. How should you vote and why you should vote are outlined in the video below by Pastor Gary Hamrick. He spoke at the Family Research Council conference “Pray Vote Stand” recently. Christians are called to be salt and light to this world. We are not to abstain from the world by not voting. We are here for such a time as this.
Many Christians including pastors have determined not to get involved in politics and steer clear of the election. But, that is not a good option. We cannot ignore what is happening in 2 weeks. Issues are very much matters of life or death, moral or immoral, right or wrong. Christianity itself may come under persecution if certain leaders have their way. We are witnessing every day, increased crime and the breakdown of authority. Some who are running for office are clearly seeking anti-biblical policies that threaten to destroy the very foundations of civilization. This is not the time for apathy. We are urged to VOTE in the excellent video below. Listen to pastor Gary’s wisdom and consider forwarding to others. You will probably not knock on the doors of your neighbors to get them to vote but you can knock on the doors of friends and family with this video.
